"Here it’s like floating… floating"
"I have had root canals before, so I knew the experience, the drilling, the sound of the drill, and all that stuff. First thing you hear that drill, anybody that’s had any dental work, the first thing you anticipate, you hate to hear is that sound going in there. Here it’s like floating… floating. He starts off explaining what he’s going to do. Taking that fear, that anticipation, what you expect, what you hear from other people, what you see, it’s all gone, right off the top, before he even starts the procedure. Before you know it, he’s doing it. He stops in between, asks you questions, how you’re feeling. The first thing is to make sure you weren’t in discomfort, you weren’t nervous. You want to build that trust, that relaxation. Right off the top, when he started, it was like nothing. I recommend root canals to people here now. Go for it!"

“Most Of My Root Canal Patients Return To Their Normal Routine The Day Following Their Procedure”
Post Root Canal Advise from Dr. George Hanna
“There are usually no after effects from having a root canal. Once the procedure is over, you might experience a little discomfort from the tooth for a day or two. If you are having some sensitivity or aching, the use of over the counter medicines like Ibuprofen or Tylenol should help. Check with your pharmacist to see if these drugs are appropriate for you, and to get the recommended dosages. If the discomfort persists, call us and we will get you in immediately to determine the nature of the pain. Normal activities like work, school or physical activity are not usually affected by a root canal, so we don’t place restrictions on what you do the next day after the procedure. Remember to come in for your next six month checkup so that your reconstructed tooth can be examined and checked for stability.“
